Fight the fight.
We always shy away from conflict. Some wars we never would have wished for. But if we can stay in the fight long enough, we would find lessons and rewards that would have been forever denied to us, if it had been left up to us.

In contemplating the duality of words such as “left”…which can mean both one thing and its opposite, such as “five players left, and only four were left”; it became apparent that what should STAY in our awareness, worthy of our focus and energy is important…what is left, must be what is RIGHT.
Words can cripple, and words can heal.Wielded in the right hands, they can give the gift of hope, a light in the darkness where none seem to be found. But only for others; Words are ineffective, or clumsy at best when used to describe or explain oneself. They will often be taken as grandiose, self-deprecating, or worse…not heard at all.In matters of the self, don’t worry about what others think…because its none of your business anyway…not is it under your control.Let your…
I’m tired of hearing the “anything is possible” speech. All things are simply not possible.Elephants can’t fly. But, you can only do ANYTHING that enters your mind. If it weren’t possible, you wouldn’t have thought of it. And that’s OK…I doubt flying ever entered an elephant’s mind.
The only thing crazier than believing that your worldview is the only one that’s true is trying to convince a person otherwise by using logic. Always be willing to question the validity of your convictions by testing their credibility, probability…and of course, bias contamination. The senses and the mind are lovely liars…
It is often thought that warriorship is about violence, conflict and the hope of victory. In reality, warriorship is about the negation of conflict; its about letting the universe do whatever it will…and we just move with it.Warriorship is less about combat, and more like an eternal dance with the divine.
Anxiety abounds when we compare our successes and failures to others’. Our culture has indoctrinated us into this mindset, and advertising pulverizes us with the message “You’re not good enough”. Let’s not forget that Grandma Moses, renowned American folk artist, began her painting career at 78. All of Nature happens in its correct time, and we are no exception, for we ARE Nature. You are not late, and you’re not a loser. You’re Running a solitary race; the race of…
It is common for us to tally our wins and our losses, our conquests and defeats, and it seems equally common to attribute our negatives as the result of external forces…external sources. But what is your reality REALLY? It is your interpretation…purely your own…of stimuli from life events so that you can categorize and make sense… in our own way…of the meaning of our life. We all are prone to a colossal error though; which is that our interpretation is…
What happens to us, happens. It may very well have a reason uniquely ours. This doesn’t necessarily infer that there is an otherworldly Being who decides that reason, but just as there is a reason acorns sprout and leaves eventually wither and die, there is a reason…It is a process. The meaning we give to that process however, if we are brave enough to look, will determine if it was a blessing…or a curse. And will most definitely influence the processes…
When awakened by the “a ha” moment, we are aware of something that, just a moment ago, we weren’t conscious of. We didn’t need to make it happen, in fact we couldn’t have made it happen…like the automatic laugh at the end of the funny cat video. When we become aware that the object and the observation co-arise, we begin to let go of the need for control. We begin to see that it was never out of control, and…
